Štrbské Pleso
Štrbské Pleso059 85 Wysokie TatrySłowacja
It’s the second-largest lake on the Slovakian side of Tatras. It is located in the lower part of Mlynická and Furkotská dolina, on so-called Štrbské Terrace. Size, location, and more importantly, easy access, make it a developed and keenly-visited place - you will find here the hotels, sanatoriums, restaurants, shops and even a marina. There’s a gravel-asphalt path running around the lake, on which you can take a walk and admire the amazing panorama of Tatra summits. For most of the tourists, this is a starting point for their hikes - you can enter here the trails to the waterfall vodopád Skoko, Bystrá lávka, shelter Chata Solisko, Popradské pleso and Kriváň.
