Resting places on the main bicycle trail of the Route

Przy zabytkowym moście kolejowym w Podczerwonem

There are several resting places for cyclists on the main bicycle trail on the Polish and Slovak side, 35 km long and running along the embankment of the former railway line. There are roofed parking shelters with benches, tables, bicycle stands, litter bins and information boards.

On the Polish section, 5 resting spaces have been created - in the Nowy Targ commune in Ludźmierz and Rogoźnik and the Czarny Dunajec commune - near the towns of Czarny Dunajec, Podczerwone and on the state border. Moreover, cyclists can use a recreational place - a picnic shelter with a space for a bonfire, located on the Czarny Dunajec river, next to the renovated railway bridge. There are 6 parking shelters on the Slovakian section of the cycling route - 2 in Sucha Hora and 2 in Hladovka, and 1 in Liesek and 1 in Trstena. At the border parking shelter, there is a large information board about the cycling regulations in Poland and Slovakia. The board has an interesting and clear graphic form with information in Polish and Slovakian.
