Short (1.65 km) cycling route connecting Koniówka with the main Route around the Tatras.

At the starting point of the route, there is a parking lot next to the OSP firehouse, available for those travelling along the voivodeship road 958 from Krakow to Zakopane. This additional connection allows you to join the route if you want to start it just before the Slovakian border. Moreover, you will find here the remains of the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, which crashed here during the II WW in 1944. If you travel on the route towards the border, Koniówka is the place where you enter the Natura 2000 area - Orava-Nowy Targ Peatlands through which the main Route around the Tatras runs.
From Koniówka, you can take local (municipal) roads with low traffic, along the Czarny Dunajec river, both towards Chochołów and Dzianisz, as well as towards Podczerwone and Czarny Dunajec, up to the old railway bridge on the main Route around the Tatras and the rest stop created there. One of the directional signs in Koniówka informs you about all those additional connections.
