Homole Gorge

A picturesque valley of the Kamionka river creates a gorge with fancy calcareous creations. It is one of the most beautiful places in Pieniny. To reach the gorge, we recommend starting in Jaworki village, located close to Szczawnica. The reserve and the tourist trail start just by the road going through the village, behind the parking lot. From the very beginning, we can observe amazing limestone rocks and unique cascades of the stream, which we will have to cross many times. Homole is a dwelling of some rare birds and plants, with its clean air and crystal clear water.
