The summit on the Polish side is 2499 m tall and has 2503 m on the Slovakian side. The expedition to the highest Polish summit is a great idea, however, you need to be well prepared. Remember to report this fact in the Morskie Oko shelter and let G.O.P.R. (Mountain Volunteer Search and Rescue) know that you got back safely.
