It is one of the most beautiful rocky gorges in Western Tatras. It stretches for over 3 km and, in its upper part, branches off into two trails, divided by the Wysoki Grzbiet: Kamienne Tomanowe (the extension of the main course of the Krakow Gorge), Żleb Trzynastu Progów (Thirteen Knickpoint Couloir), and Zadnie Kamienne. The entryway to the Krakow Gorge is located around 150 higher than Hala Pisana and is around 3 km long. The tourists have access only to a small part of it. The rest of the area is protected by the reserve, unavailable to visitors. The bottom of the gorge is rocky and dry, crossing it is quite easy, pleasurable and attractive. The high, partly moss-covered walls create a fabulous atmosphere. Starting from the ladder leading to the cave Smocza Jama, the trail is one-way. You can visit the Krakow Gorge independently from the cave. More information at https://gorydlaciebie.pl/wyprawy/dolina-koscieliska/
