Built between 1320 and 1330 by Spiš Landgraves from the Berzeviczy family to guard the trade route connecting Hungary and Poland. The castle survived almost untouched to this very day. Nowadays, the Castle belongs to the Association of Art Historians. You will find here the Creative Work House (Dom Pracy Twórczej), with a restaurant and a small hotel. The upper floors of the castle serve as a museum.
